I work out of the best office in the world. This lifestyle business gives me the freedom to live the American dream, cut overhead costs to the bone and pass more value to you and the clients I serve.

Who do I work with?

Creative designers, SEO wizards, mobile app gurus, social media mavins, small to mid sized businesses and individuals that understand the development process. This allows me to enjoy relationships and friendships that go beyond just getting a job done and confidently integrate services when you need them.

What did I do before doing this?

I have been a waiter, a dishwasher, a cook, an optical lens grinder, a phototypesetter, a darkroom b&w photo developer, a paste-up artist, a technical illustrator, a graphic artist, a proposal department artist, a computer programmer, a machinist, a drafter/illustrator, a design drafter and a mechanical designer. Of course ongoing duties include being a husband, a father and a grandfather.

How did it prepare me for today?

It taught me that service is job one. Keep people happy and involved at all times. Hone your creative talent by practicing every day, and no job is finished until the paperwork is done.

Who inspired me along the way? and why?

Jesus Christ. First and foremost I give the glory to God because he knows who I am. Nevertheless he saved me for his name’s sake, that he might make his mighty power to be known. PS.106:8
My children and tightly knit family are my next passion, grand children are so much fun to wind up and then give back.

Is that chocolate on your face?

Dr. Richard Bandler for his opening of my eyes to what words do to your brain. Sean D’Souza for his incredible writing skills and teaching by example.

My grandparents on my fathers side did some really valiant things during WWII. Saving lives and risking their own in the process. American schools after the war made a curriculum around their actions and called it Treason or Honor. Rescuers of Jews during the Holocaust – Quakers section has their names in it. Their selflessness has been a constant reminder of what is important in life.

What are my hobbies?

Guitar, hiking, gardening, photography and computers. Guitar stands as my favorite hobby because of how it makes me feel and how connected I am when playing. Do you know those goosebumps? Have you seen them? The thing that bugs me the most about my hobby is not getting enough time to master it fully.

Yes, it is pretty geeky, but ever since 10th grade in high school there has always been the fascination for making and programming computers. I’ve owned the gamut from the Commodore 64 to the latest I-7 Intel chip. Here is a picture of the newest addition to the family – purchased in the third quarter of 2014. This incredibly fast graphics machine has 32 gigabytes of ram, two terabytes of disk space with a matching MSI motherboard and 2 gigabyte MSI graphics card. Went with Liquid cooling of the processor because of the options available for overclocking the chip. The chip wasn’t the fastest that was available from Intel at the time, ending up with the I-7 4790 because of price over performance. Even stayed under my budget of $1500.00. Would you like one like it?

I spend my free time working in our organic garden. We like to maintain about two acres for vegetables on the farm. Our brindle pitbull named Sable we got from the Humane Society in 2014 is enjoying the open space to run around and has integrated well with the other animals on the property. It is hard to imagine looking at her run around without a care that, when we first got her, she wouldn’t even leave the porch she was so afraid and had never been outside the walls of the institution. My wife likes to have sleepover weekends with the eight grand-kids once in a while, making pancakes and waffles with peanut-butter and syrup for breakfast, and I get to play Chef!
Of course showing up for Chamber of Commerce events in Ramona California always puts a smile on my face. Ramona is about farming and rural living. Just like any other small town in the Midwest, (except we’re in Southern California) we have one main street through town, called appropriately Main Street and everyone here loves animals and gardening. Ramona is 25 miles east off highway 15, north of San Diego and South of Escondido. Just take the Poway exit and head east. Ramona is a pass through town on your way to Julian – world famous for their apple pie, or to the high desert for off-road fun. It is taking a step back in time to a simpler and more thoughtful life.
